Aarohi Platform Expands Impact and Participation

Aarohi, the inclusion platform of Godrej Capital, focuses on empowering women as borrowers, employees, partners, and community leaders through four pillars:

  • financial inclusion,
  • equitable employment,
  • capability-building, and
  • strategic collaborations.

Since its inception, Aarohi has enabled loan bookings exceeding ₹1000 crore for women and aims to positively impact more than 1,00,000 women over the next five years.

Industry Context and Growing Women Borrower Participation

As per industry estimates, women accounted for nearly 20% of total home loan disbursements in FY25. Maharashtra contributed 28% of this volume, supported by strong economic growth and higher financial penetration.

Pune – particularly areas like Wakad, Baner, and Kharadi – continues to see rising participation from women homebuyers.
